CONTRACT MIXING

Our services include a variety of contract mixing or product manufacturing, mainly specialising (but not limited to) blending fine powders and aggregates.

We have large drum blenders on site capable of mixing batches of up to 7,500kg and consistency can be guaranteed through the batch and from batch to batch. The blenders are capable of blending fine powders with large aggregates and are efficient in blending in trace additives into the blends within 5 minutes.

The manufacturing equipment is quite simple by design and is easily accessible for cleaning and inspections, so cross contamination between products is eliminated.

Once the products are blended our customers can specify the packaging type and pack weights – we cater for anything from 100g sachets to 30,000kg bulk tankers. Standard packaging types available are either: valve or open mouth sacks, drums, boxes, buckets, sachets, bulk bags or into bulk tankers.

We pride ourselves at being able to quickly respond to customer demands and our short lead times are one of our unique selling points, we always aim to do our best to meet customers’ requests.

LABORATORY SERVICES

We offer comprehensive facilities for laboratory checks and tests carried out by our experience technicians, this to ensure all materials leave our site in the required specification for use.

STORAGE & DESPATCH FACILITIES

Pennine Aggregates have storage capacity of over 55,000 sq. ft, these facilities are available once materials have been manufactured.

We also have the capacity on site for the loading and unloading of containers, for any export deliveries or collections.
